Founded in 1989, Rick Carsey Trucking & Construction has been serving the valley for its grading, paving, and aggregate needs. Starting with one truck hauling just rock and dirt, Rick has grown the company to now include 30+ employees, and over 75 pieces of equipment. Although Rick is the president and owner, he prefers the title “Dirt Pusher.” If you need him, you can find him somewhere on a tractor, and very rarely behind a desk. He truly enjoys what he does and always says if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
For over 15 years Rick was involved with his parents’ steel building company, and gained invaluable experience working as a subcontractor for Carsey & Carsey Inc. Although he did not end up carrying on the family steel building company when his father retired in 2008, Rick continued to remain in the steel industry as a subcontractor for another building contractor, Beckenhauer Construction. Doug Beckenhauer started the company in the 1980s, and has been a reputable contractor across the valley for decades. When Doug started looking at retirement options, Rick jumped on the opportunity to acquire the company in 2015, now operating under the name Beckenhauer Inc.
Together the two companies serve as the general building contractor, project management team, and handle both pre- and post-construction site work. The Carsey and Beckenhauer teams work hand in hand get these projects not only off to a good start, but also follow the project through to completion with on site management every step of the way.
